[ʒmi'xɔfska], Narcyza, Pseudonym Gabryẹlla, polnische Schriftstellerin, * Warschau 4. 3. 1819, ✝ ebenda 24. 12. 1876; führendes Mitglied des Warschauer politischen Zirkels »Entuzjastiki« (Die Enthusiastinnen), der sich für soziale Reformen und die Frauenemanzipation einsetzte, Themen, die Żmichowska auch in den psychologischen Romanen »Poganka« (1846, vollständig 1861) und »Czy to powieść?« (1877) behandelt; ferner gedanklich reiche, formal vollendete spätromantische Lyrik.
